ECO Canterbury – Building the Bigger Picture – Biodiversity Health in Canterbury

These groups will share their achievements, challenges and the way their work links with, or adds to, the wider biodiversity ‘picture’ in 6 minutes pecha-kucha style presentations.

Environment Canterbury: Dr Cynthia Roberts, Councillor

Speaking about the “step change” in biodiversity – what this means and how it might be implemented.

Christchurch City Council: Mike Davidson, Councillor

Sharing thoughts on the wider biodiversity goals and strategies of Council and links with the work being discussed.

Cynthia and Mike will speak for 10-15 minutes and there will be plenty of time for discussion. This is the first of a series featuring organisations in Canterbury working to protect and restore the region’s biodiversity.
