Climate Change Sampler Bike Ride

23/03/2019 at 4:00 pm - 6:40 pm

This bicycle ride takes a look at some of the real things already being done in Christchurch to address climate change.

When we first envisioned this ride, we were very worried there would be nothing to actually see and touch. But what we found is that there is too much to see in one ride, so now the ride is a sampler – guided by experts, we look at architecture, transport and environment.

We’ll look at climate change being addressed by businesses, government and citizens, right here in Christchurch. An expert describes how what we see at each stop is helping mitigate climate change today. The ride ends up at the Pegasus Arms where we have a chance to talk further with our experts and each other, over a beer. This is a rerun of the Climate Change ride at last year’s biketober https://www.biketober.nz/climate-change-sampler-ride
