Fundraising 101 – a skill building workshop

Hear from funders, government and philanthropic, and a specialist grant writer on what makes a compelling grant application This workshop will help you to critically examine your current fundraising practices and help increase your chance for success including special events, sponsorship and donor care. Networking time will be available to talk about specific issues, as well as some opportunity for additional-post workshop one-on-one mentoring will be provided.

Presenters: Kate Russell,ONZM, FFINZ, Programmes and Partnerships Manager Parks CCC and Sue Marshall- Specialist Grant Writer, SPCA,

Representatives from several funding organisations will be on-hand, including : Christchurch City Council, Environment Canterbury, Selwyn District Council,  Waimakariri District Council, Department of Internal Affairs and Rātā Foundation
