We have only been around for 200,000 years, but when the ‘big bang’ of human consciousness happened around 50,000 years ago, this big brained ape really took off. In this 2 part series Dr Simon Pollard will take you back through time to show the incredible evolutionary journey that our ancestors took from early man to the present day.
Dr Simon Pollard has a PhD in Zoology, is an award winning author and is Adjunct Professor of Science Communication at the University of Canterbury.
