22 June at 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
DATE CHANGE AND EVENT UPDATE:
Please note date and time changed to Monday 22nd of June, 2pm.
Request: Kia ora whanau, it’d be great to know numbers of who can attend on the day, so we will know how disruptive we can be. Please register below if you can definitely attend on Monday 22nd June at 1400, and are willing to do some Non-Violent Direct Action on the day.
That said, there is no obligation to do anything other than have a presence on the day, and we’d love to have you in whatever capacity feels comfortable for you.
Online Non-Violent Direct Action training and briefing will be via video this Thursday 18th June, link event to follow shortly.
The Trans Spring vessel, carrying thousands of tonnes of illegal ‘blood phosphate’ from the occupied territory of Western Sahara is due in Lyttelton on Monday 22nd June. As always, we will be standing up against Ravensdown and having a presence at the Port.
New Zealand is the only country left in the world that’s still funding the brutal illegal occupation of Western Sahara by Morocco. RAVENSDOWN and BALANCE-AGRI NUTRIENTS are the only two clients left in the world who still continue to buy the stolen phosphate.
America, Canada, South Africa, even bloody Australia have all stopped or refuse to buy this ‘blood phosphate’ due to the human rights violations caused by this brutal and horrific colonisation.
The Trans Spring ship carrying thousands of tonnes of stolen blood phosphate from Western Sahara is scheduled to arrive into Lyttelton approximately the 22/6/2020. However as always the ship has turned off it’s GPS, therefore the date may change.. We will post any updates on this event.
We will be protesting to keep the pressure on Ravensdown to stop funding the illegal occupation of Western Sahara.
