Middelmost Mudfish Project – Working Bee
04/11/2018 at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Middelmost Mudfish Working Bee- a joint North Canterbury Forest and Bird and Working Waters Trust project near Oxford
Volunteers welcome to join us on the 4th November. We’ll be weeding around native plants that have been planted around important spawning habitat that we have created for the threatened (Nationally Critical) Canterbury mudfish.
2pm-4pm Sunday 4th November (rain or shine…but weather will be good, I promise).
332 Island Rd, View Hill (West of Oxford)- Meet on the driveway to the farmhouse (or if you know where you are going – go straight to the side gate of the farm off Mounsey’s Rd)
RSVP to Sophie Allen manager@workingwaters.org
Driving instructions: From North/East Christchurch- head to Oxford from the northern motorway, then take Woodside Rd, Mounseys Rd then turn onto Island Rd and meet at the first house on the left. Don’t take Island Rd all the way unless you are happy to go through the ford. From West Christchurch take Old West Road and go over the Waimakariri Gorge bridge, then along Harmans Gorge Rd – don’t take Ashworths Rd or Raineys Rd unless again you like fording a river! Carry along Island Rd until it turns into a gravel road then first house on the left.
