Remix Plastic Recycling Workshop

Plastic is a major problem in our world at the moment, but it is hard to know what to do ourselves to help. This workshop aims to teach about what different plastic numbers mean and what ones can be recycled as well as offer things that you can do at home to reduce single use plastic or repurpose it.

Three interactive stations cover 1) plastic types, 2) what goes in the yellow bin and 3) make your own wallet out of a milk carton. There will be other small activities for the very keen, and spot prizes over the Kids Fest period.

Children of all ages welcome, guardians required. Feel free to bring along milk cartons (Tetrapaks), bread tags and any questions you have!
