UNDERSTANDING THE TREATY IN A POST LOCKDOWN AOTEAROA

8 May at 10:00 am - 11:20 am

Fridays 8 and 22 May from 10 to 11.20am

The Treaty is a framework for all of us if it is honoured. It was and is an invitation from Tangata Whenua to Tangata Tiriti to belong in this land.

Join Network Waitangi Otautahi for this two part opportunity and discover how the Treaty provides a just framework for the future and how it can help create a sense of belonging for all of us in these uncertain times.

Please note : This is not a replacement of the full two day Understanding the Treaty in 2020 Course that was due to take place, rather an introduction and an invitation to explore the updated resources made available by Network Waitangi Otautahi The initial session will be via Zoom. You will then be encouraged to read and listen to a variety of material in your own time. The final session will then be held on Zoom with a chance to ask questions and discuss issues that arise.

You will be emailed the link to join the Zoom session once you have registered. If you require assistance setting up or using Zoom please email us on admin@cwea.org.nz

We are pleased to be bringing you this with no registration cost. We welcome a koha to support our work, you can make this via this link: http://www.cwea.org.nz/donate.php#topline
